Meth Injection Help
I am about to install a Snowmeth 2D kit on my car. I will be running 100% methanol (suggested by Buschur), and it will be on the stock ecu. I was wondering if there are any fail safes, check valves, or solenoids that I need to add on to the standard 2D kit? This is the basic 2D kit with the 7 qt tank added on. So if there is anything else, please tell me what, how much, and where to get it.
Thank You

Get the off\on valve so when the system is off, the system won't leak Meth when you don't want it. Also get the Labonte failsafe. I got the snow kit, but the failsafe it came with wasn't tunable like the labonte one. Labonte makes the snow kit for them. So I'd check them out as well. How big are your fuel injtrs?

I also have the 2d snow kit (uninstalled) and after reading up on the alcohol threads, I purchased a solenoid and failsafe from LABONTE. Its here and very nice looking, although my block is still at the machine shop so I can't use it yet.

You should be O.K. with stock injectors even after you add the header and the larger FMIC. Since you will be running the Meth kit as well, there really is no need to upgrade injectors just yet.

I just bought a Buschur Racing FMIC with piping used and it was flanged for the 1G BOV, so I just sold my Forge BOV and bought a Forge 1G BOV, same bov made for a different flange.
USMC, you should be fine with those mods. I am going for alot of HP is why I am doing this stuff, I am trying to get the most I can until I can afford my new set up which is going to include: HTA 35R, BR 2.3 Stage 3 block and head, AEM EMS, Racin Intercooler, 288 cams. So for now I am trying for high 10s/low 11s with the stuff I can afford untill I get a great job and own my own shop to where I can start the new build.

Well, I know that the stock injectors have enough headroom for anything that you can throw at the stock VIII turbo. I am not sure about the IX turbo though, as the improved compressor flows a bit more air than the VIII turbo. Maybe someone with a IX turbo can chime in.
My guess is that the stock injectors will be enough on pumpgas, as well as pumpgas w/ meth, you might run into some problems if you were to run E85, however.
