I am running port A to atmosphere, port B to vaccum source, and port C to boost only source, with no preload and it reacts very quick, and I only get compressor surge once in a blue moon in 5th gear... This works the best for me, for street driving, and 1/4 mile track set up...

That sounds like the ideal Evo setup. The Evo is tough, fast spooling turbo, and natural true-on-load surge. We'll be covering more in depth theoretical stuff in the next few videos.

I have seriously tried every possible setting and this one works best for my set up... it may not work with someone elses setup... you just have to play with it a bit, once you get it, it is worth it!

Every car is different, for sure . . . cams, no cams, turbo spec, it all comes into play.

Either way, you're pretty much guaranteed that you aren't leaking boost under load. Some guys have complained that it discharges too much pressure between shifts. If that is an issue with 1/4 mile drag racing, my suggestion would be to not run Port C then just when drag racing. But as you can see in the video, Port C really is a game changer when it comes to response.

I run port C to boost only, and ports A+B to boost/vacuum and it works great.
