^-- JUN 272 would have been great as I have them but unfortunately they were not tested.

Martin,

I do have a question though, the Tomei graph shown is that hydraulic or solid lifter? Are you going to posted the other Tomei graph as well? The list has two versions of Tomeis but only one has been posted.

Damn, the FP 5R graph is nice. I wonder if the result would look the same on a IX.

Forgive my ignorance, but how is torque affected with all the different cams?

EDIT: Would it be possible to get some of the cams results overlayed? Specifically the GSC and FP cams?

which cams do you want?

interestingly the crane's perform identically to the FP5R's Actually the Tomei 280's and S3's are all pretty much the same, maybe 10whp here and there.

Tomei is the dark line, S3 is the yellow, crane and FP5r are the light lines.

I'll take a stab at the driveability question. My guess is that it refers to how the car performs off-boost and when it first comes into boost. For example, my car, which is running HKS 280s and has been built up for nothing but top end power, does not like to be driven below 2500 RPM (both on stock ECU and AEM). Anything below 2000, and it starts feeling like it's going to stall. Contrast that to my stock Forester XT (and back in the day when the Evo was stock), which I can drive at any RPM above idle, without much of a problem. I suspect that as the cams get more aggressive, low RPM driveability continues to decline.

It's better to ask

Drivability IMO, is how the car performs in partial thottle conditions. whether your driving from stop light to stop light = city driving or how the engine response to throttle input on a auto x or road/street course.

Some cams offer immediate response regardless of the revs your in, while other cam profiles provide a numb feeling relative to throttle input for the same revs.
