Gotcha. Thanks .

I'm wondering that too. If you figure it out be sure to let us know! Before and after DLL pulls or whatever. Well, ok the HKS 280's aren't here either but the before and after with them would still be pretty interesting.

I would personally go w/ the GSC S2's for your setup, for overall drivability and power. You wont be disappointed.

I just bought the Buschur BF 272's with springs/retainers etc... I wonder where they fall into this list.

Let's face it, Evo cams are like the latest spring fashion. I remember when everyone thought the HKS 280s were the shiznit, only to see them bashed anytime something new has come out. Hopefully this cam test will help put things into perspective.

I've heard that rumor but haven't heard/read it from the horses mouth so I'm not repeating it.

yes but I only do it in 4th gear to keep me from hitting the rev limiter and obviously I don't recommend everything I do to my own car for my customers. I experiment on my own car so my customers don't have to

I still think the HKS 280's are a good cam if you're looking for something inexpensive that performs well on a stock head (no need for springs and retainers at least up to 8500rpm on my car)

what would the hks 280 map look like in comparison to the FP 4R? Those are the two I'm thinking about.

no hard data but you could look at the HKS 272 and imagine the HKS 280 being a bit better and go from there:

This cams made some power close to Tomei 280's.(I thought Crane and Comp cams are the same?)
