Hmmm looks very similar to my post here what spark plugs are you running?
Yeah...its not good to use EVO8 plugs in a 9 like I posted in the above thread. OptionsAuto sells cheaper plugs for the 9

So on a IX with meth(50/50), a green and cams etc, should I go with the IKH24's, gapped at .022?

thats what im running with my 35 and thats what i gap everyone i tune that is running meth.

they are just expensive, but good plugs none the less.... your gap is determined by your mod level.

I would guess these stockers have only about 8-9k on them, but they have been used with tuning meth, cams, a green, new injectors etc and haven't been changed. I think they are gapped around .024 right now.
Just thought maybe I should use the colder plugs because of my recent mods and spiking 30psi. No?

This is a good thread to keep everything together I think, so I'm going to add. This should be corrected in the first post!
Stock gap for IX plugs is 0.020 - 0.024. This is different from the VIIIs.. so us folks with IXs need to be aware of this when reading about what other people gap their plugs to. Below is from the IX service manual..

If anyone has the part number to order them at the local advance auto like previously stated here i would love to have them. The reason i say this is i have worked there for 3 or 4 years now and i cant get the bumber to cross. Used the part numbers in here and all. The only way i can get them through work is through the home office and they are EXPENSIVE to say the least.
Oh and wouldnt everyone agree its about time for new plugs for me. The car falls on its face up top and has 45k on the stockers with ful bolt ones since about 10k

Subscribed, I would like to know the plugs to use with all general bolt-ons and a gt35r at 93 octane + water injection. Mabye there is a chart for sparkplugs and gaps somewhere?
