Here are some advantages of a light flywheel:
-Increase in wheel horsepower
-Increase in engine braking ability (cars slows down faster)
-Car is slightly lighter (less weight = good)
Here are some disadvantages:
-Cannot launch as hard since there is less stored rotational energy available from a lighter flywheel
-Decrease in overall drivability (very finicky when driving at low speeds, i.e. in a parking lot)

I loved my Prolite flywheel in my VIII, quicker shifts, easy rev matching and great engine braking
the only thing I didint like was slow speed driving in 1st or 2nd gear, the car would buck until you were above 2K rpm....but I dealt w/ it, no biggie
