+1 for the screeching, chirping sound from that area.

I got it fixed... turn out to be the timing belt.
Open up the hood.. it should come from the passenger side of the engine.. where
the noise could come from any of those belt/pulleys or timing belt.
I saw the old belt that dealer pulled out... looks NEW... dealer cant tell me
what was wrong with belt (as expected, my car has only 13k), just said it
was the belt making noise.

Nope... but just annoying... and I left my car run down on turbo timer in the
garage (which garage door open, of course) so it amplified the noise somewhat.
Of course, this only applies if you have the exact same problem/noise I have.

Exact same noise! Started at around 11k and I now have 12k...
Could it possibly be anything with the power steering pump? Friend of mine drove my car and said the steering felt much heavier or sluggish compared to his evo. Tire pressure was 35 all the way around at the time.
