In any event, he has a Switzer custom setup, but its nasty. 3076-12 like spool putting out 540 whp with very mild cams.

yeah i believe that gt3040(30r turbine, gt40 comp) is the same as the fp3065. this is what im looking for, but ive heard that its a mismatched turbo and that the 30r turbine cant flow the gt40comp well, but evoviiiyou has a nice set up!! so i dont know what to do. the other consideration is the 3076r with -13(not sure about the full specs and where it falls in the gt30r group). definitely looking for more help and info on these turbos. any recommendations?

Someone had asked earlier about a 3076r with a stroker motor. I have this setup with a 2.4 4g64 and 3076, so it is quite comparable. I was limited to 20 psi due to my injectors, and we dynoed in 108 degree scorching weather; so the numbers aren't all that high; but it will give you guys a good idea how the turbo spools. Very broad powerband.

I have the -13 GT30R and it is a sick pump gas turbo. On pump it will make over 400 whp DJ easily.
With racegas it will do 500 whp DJ without a problem.
However once you get to about 28-30 psi while the turbo will continue to make peak power but the power will fall off fast and has surge issues. For 500+whp I would pick a GT3040R.

GT3076R on JUN 2.2L stroker, HKS 264 cams, 30 psi at 4400 RPM held. 98 RON (about 93 octane in the US). 100 deg F in the shade. Cylinder head is stock.
The new Nissan GTR does about 390 PS at wheels on this dyno.

432 whp with a GT3076R, with HFS-5 at 28psi
but then my stock block decided to take a dump and put cylinder 1 out of commission.. so i will be doing a full block build, and put it again on the dyno and see where it gets me...
