If you are local to here you will have no trouble with the warranty on the car. If you are not local I still don't think you will have a problem. So far everything is going just as planned!!

Man I wish I was ready to buy! arg it just eats me up such awsome deals! A couple of quick questions. First, will they deliver these cars to So. Cali.? Second, I am aiming for mid next year to get one, do you think that you will still be working with the dealership on these David? Thanks.

Yes, we will still be working with the dealership next year. Maybe by next year we will be working with more dealers

Delivery to California would have to arranged by you. Shoot me a PM.

Hey David, I saw that someone just bought a BR350 in the EVO IX. Nice looking man, what you're doing is great. One question i had though was how's things going with getting other dealers involved? Let us know.

David,

Is there any way to buy this package to add to the new '05 Evo VIII I bought last week and keep the warranty? Basically, will you discuss your staged upgrades with other dealers on a case-by-case basis in order to help out potential customers that would like to buy only if they can keep the warranty - or is that outside of what you are willing to work towards at this time? I surely understand that this might be further down the road if that is even something you will be interested in doing at all. Maybe Medina would be willing to serve as a reference to other dealers? It seems to me like the only thing that would be an issue is the re-programmed ECU. Perhaps it would help that Medina has set somewhat of a precedent by essentially approving of your tuning? I know it is a lot to ask, but I just thought I would throw the idea out there.

Thanks for your time,
Adam

dzuest,

When we started doing this I gave my word to not do this with any other dealers. Things are picking up as we have built 4 more in the last month. I can't break my word and work with anyone else. As tempting as it is, I can't. I haven't heard any problems with any warrantee work happening on these packages elsewhere though.

adam5743,

I can sell you the parts that are on the packages but not the serialized emblems and such. The customer has to talk to their local dealer and see what they are going to allow. The re-flashed ECU will go undetected, so that is the least of your worries. Medina does act as a "middleman" on these cars with other dealers, but only the BR330-350 edition cars. When someone buys them if they need to take it into their local dealer Medina will talk to their local dealer and explain what it going on with the package and such, which has made everything go very smooth.

Here is a dyno sheet that I am quite proud of. The sheet shows a bone stock EVO9 that came in to be turned into a BR350. We base lined the car, added our BR350 performance package to it. The customer also requested ceramic coating the turbine housing, 02 housing and manifold. He also requested that we add our race FMIC to the car.

The dyno chart below shows the results of JUST the parts with NO retune at all. The next guy that wants to tell you that a FMIC doesn't make a difference on the stock turbo you can laugh. Normally these packages pick up about 25 whp before tuning, this one picked up an AMAZING 42 whp with NO tune yet!! Enjoy guys, I sure am proud of these cars!!

Wow..that's awesome David. Just a quick question, how much do 05 Evo VIII's put down on your dyno ?

Mitsubishi keep raising the HP numbers but our dyno isn't honestly showing the raises. The 2003-2006's all dyno right in the same area. Curves are a little different but peak power on our dyno for any of the years are between 200-210. As you can see this particular EVO9 only made 203 WHP stock.

I will post a dyno sheet from a BR330 we did today and this BR350 after the tune. Great results from both!! These packages are pretty unreal.

Alright guys, here it is. BR350 EVO9. Stock cat in place, difference is the race FMIC installed on this particular car. Enjoy:

Also, here is the stock EVO9 before the BR330 package and after. Incredible gains on this car but it has a customer installed 2.5" offroad pipe installed in place of the stock cat.

Unbelievable power from both cars. Stock cat is pretty darn restrictive, which we know already. It is something WE are not allowed to touch here on the cars.

wow the BR330 makes more power than the BR350. I guess the factory cat really is pretty restrictive.

I wanted to add than I was lucky enough to get a chance to drive the BR330 car. Honestly - it was the best driving evo I have enjoyed to date. I am currently trying to convince my wife why I need a second daily driver evo because it would be the ideal car to drive about on the road every day.

I wish David would post up some pictures of the engine compartment on the BR350 car as it was one of the cleanest and most attractive mod packages I have seen.
