Those problems you read about are from people that have never touched a wrench before and attempt to put it on themselves. Do a search on Helix exhausts, you will find the SAME thing.

Its all about taking the time to install the parts correctly. Some people expect to put in exhaust in pretty fast. If you take your time and do it right the first time, well you won't have to do it again a 2nd. time. I just installed a revised Buschur 3" turboback with the magnaflow and it is a Kick Butt system.

the biggest downside to the slip fit, regardless of who makes it, is that it is more prone to leaks, nd fitment tends to be "eh" - takes fiddling to get it sitting nicely

I have the Buschur exhaust w/magnaflow and the slip joint fit is perfect! I doubt it will ever move or leak if the clamp used is torqued as specified in the instructions.

Z1,

I have to disagree on your statement. Our particular slip fit slides together very tight and the two slide about 3 full inches inside each other. This is then put together with a 360 degree band clamp that additionally seals it all up.

Just wanted to explain how our system works.
