Buschur 2.0LR, FP 6466TZ, E85 40psi

New setup for this year, haven't gotten any good passes on it yet unfortunately but figured I'd share the dyno results at least for now.

Build:

2005 GSR "Slo Evo"
Buschur Racing 2.0 Long Rod
Ported Head, Supertech duals
GSC S3 Cams
AMS F1-I intake, ported
Fullblown 70mm TB
Buschur racing FMIC
JM Fab Vband turbo kit
Forced Performance 6466TZ with Tial .82 vband hotside
Megan 3" catback with 2 resonators
Buschur Double pumper and -6AN Aeroquip socketless feed line
FIC 2150s
FatFab air intake pipe
Proefi 128
E85, 40psi

Ran to 40psi on Pure Tuning's mustang dyno where we started to run out of fuel going for a 12.0 AFR.. my pumps are over 5 years old and on their original socks, David at Buschur Racing noted that StreetThisEvo's car makes tons of power on E98 with this fuel setup, so I'll be getting some fresh pumps with new filters and seeing how it does with more boost at some point.

747whp and 509 ft/lbs on mustang dyno was the result, 3rd gear pull:

Assembly..

Ready to get strapped down and make some passes...

FP 6466TZ on left, HTA3586 on right..

Did you have the HTA86 on before? If so, what did it do?

I did, but it was with a stock ported intake mani and a different shortblock, 2.0 still but standard and .040 over.. things that would probably make a bit of difference in when the power comes on, etc. made 628/500 on same dyno at same boost. I'll try to dig up the graph

Nice to finally see some results from this turbo!

Definitely some respectable numbers from a mustang dyno.

Thanks! I couldn't find any results either as it's brand new but when they explained the new HTZ aero used on this one (and the super99) I got the idea it might make a nice powerband.. can't wait to get more seat time with it!

As far as the dyno, I've used it for my last few setups.. it doesn't make 'pretty' numbers I suppose but by now everyone knows what to expect on a mustang dyno anyways.

Nice to see some results from this turbo. Makes the decision between running my pte6466 on a 2.3 or getting a fp6466/ Hta86 even harder...

So the changes were 2.0LR vs std rod 2.0 and AMS intake vs ported stock plus 6466HTZ vs HTA 86? If those were the only changes to pick up 100whp at the same boost is very impressive!

I don't think the block would make much difference. So intake and Turbo are the main power makers. I wish you had swapped the intake first and seen the power difference. If you still have the HTA 86 you should do a true back to back test.

Either way great results. ~750whp on a mustang Dyno is no joke!

I know what you mean, I've heard the AMS F1 will move the power to the right a bit on a 2.0, so I also am interested to know what the difference would have been with just the turbo. The Buschur 2.0LR's are 10 to 1 compression while my old 2.0 was 9 to 1, so that may have made a slight change also. I didn't want to risk leaving top end power on the table so I did both the intake and the turbo.. dyno rental is expensive!

Good job man looks like I'll have to send you a 750WHP key chain.

Every 1 increase in compression ratio is supposed to increase power by 4% or so that's 30. Maybe intake was 30-40 and Turbo 30-40. Or intake 70 and either Turbo would have done it? It is so hard to know! Hahaha. No matter what it is kicking butt!
