TSComptuned 2.4L (5LEEPER) Evo IX 6466 S3 cams E85

I had steve log some pulls tonight in his car to get an idea where we are right now. He quickly ran out of the fuel on the 1550cc injectors a few days ago, so now he has the 2150cc injectors in there that we dialed in today.

This car trapped about 138 with 630whp prior (Its a full weight car 3340lb with driver). I am going to share an overlay with before and after power.
(And now it has trapped 143.87 with 702whp (still full weight except for rx7 wheels + Hoosier QTP's)

The below overlay consists of a fp black vs a 6466. The FP black had alittle more timing in it. we are just keeping it conservative for now on the new setup.

Mods are:

TSComptuned 2.4L 9.7:1 Wiseco HD 1400 / Manley turbo tuff rods / stock crank (About 15K on this engine so far to date I think)
TSComptuned Built head (stock porting / Kiggly springs & retainers / Cosworth FSL HG / ARP 625+ headstuds)
Precision 6466 vband .82 A/R
Buschur T3 Turbo kit
Buschur Race FMIC
Buschur Double pumper
Buschur 3" TBE
GSC S3 cams
MAP Rev3 intake manifold /w MIL.SPEC 65mm Throttle body
FIC 2150cc injectors (alittle over 80% IDC @ 12.0 AFR)
Tial Q Bov
Tial 44mm WG
Muse upper & Buschur lower ic piping
TSComptuned 4" intake /w big K&N filter
Exedy Triple HD /w monoloc
Tephra v7 SD /w mbc

Steve helped me with basically everything done to the car. down to building the block & assembling the head.
He watches me and learns as I do things. Hes a quick learner.

Pic as we were installing everything: (only real good pic i have of his engine bay with my camera)

Two exterior:

Power graph:

The FP Black was running 5psi less. What is more interesting though, is how the 6466 still spools pretty quickly.

We have another spare head from Buschur Steve picked as well because he wanted to do orings this time. We ended up not using it this time. But that will go on later and we will do a comparison between a stock head vs a buschur ported head on the same day of swap.

Track results: (First time at the track with Hoosier QTP's. Nothing else changed except for the wheels/tires):

This slip shows two passes. One had mis-shifts the other one was clean.

I took the car out tonight. It feels stupid fast! I personally think its making ALOT more then what this VD is showing. Im going to a track rental May 4th so ill have some 1/4 times as long as nothing breaks between now and then. My butt 1/4 time is 9.7 @ 146-147 mph

Overall im super happy with that car! Power hits SUPER HARD and feels very very smooth all the way threw!

I threw in the FIC 2150's today took me about 1 hour to do. It drives super nice! Also got a great deal threw Tom, make sure you guys give him a email or PM on pricing on your parts!

I'm sold with the 6466... I need that spool with that power. How much spool difference would a 2.3 cause in comparison to the 2.4 approximately?

very nicely done. 400tg at 4400 rpm no TS. these CEA turbos have really proven themselves.
should be good for about 5mph and 4 tenths at the track.

yea I'm super surprised on how hard it hits. Honestly it feels like it spools the same as a FP Black.

I think ill do better then 10.2 @ 143 personally. I bought a pair of QTP's on RX7 wheels so i will be running them during the track rental.

Thanks man the crazy part is I no its making more power then what VD. The track will confirm that. I think a full weight Evo making a true 700whp is 141-142 mph car.
