I'm pretty sure the shutters are doing their job at this mph. I love the way they look!
Very stable car. We are using the D2 suspension. Keep in mind that we ran this time on hoosier cheater slicks(drag radial)....looks like everyone else that's running these times is actually running a full 26" slick. Anybody have an idea on what mph difference a 26" slick would have?

But, I am just trying to understand why this car only trapped 158mph in the 1/4 mile while blowing 50psi through it with a GT42 turbo? This is a huge turbo. At that boost pressure that thing should be moving a ton of air, and it seems to me that this thing should have been trapping 165+mph. Honestly, I wouldn't have been surprised with close to 170mph.
Consider how many cars with t3 based 6766s, 6466, 3794s, etc.... are going similar trap speeds these days. Heck, there are some cars with 6266 and HTA3586s that go mid-150s all day long.
Curious about the weight of this car? Is it more or less a full-weight street car?

I breezed over the log, but you are correct about boost recovery. This shouldn't be the case with the dogbox transmission, but I'm sure he's still getting used to driving the car. With that trans you don't even have to take your foot off the gas pedal as long as you've tuned in a anti-lag at your shift point. This would improve between gear boost loss dramatically on this car.
Is this a billet-wheeled GT42R or is it still an old-school cast wheel turbo? Is it a 4294 (71mm compressor) or a 4202 (74mm compressor)?

Thanks. I missed the weight.
