Evo 8 stock turbo/cam Factory Freak 410/401

Mod list :
Hallman MBC
PTE 1000cc
Walboro pump
Full Tbe
Greddy RS Bov
ETS LICP
T bolt clamps
NGK brp8 1 step
E85 30psi dropping off to 27psi

and the key ingredient : TSCOMPUSA aka Tom

E85

93OCT

Tom told me there was room for a bit more but I have some engine noise and rattling to fix that was causing some false knock (Radiator Support bracket)

and the best part? I didnt have a serial cable to log my wideband so Tom had to go off what I told him.. I think his threads speak for themselves.

Thanks Tom!

that is pretty unbelievable for stock cams. evo 8 turbo with the small hot side and FMIC, stock intake, o2 housing, goes to show each car is different, enjoy your car!

Those are some great results for a stock 8 Turbo, cams, etc. Tom definately knows what he is doing.

Agreed. Forgot to mention.. Airbox is gone. Has a spectre air filter that came with the car on it right now.

Also its not the stock 02 housing.. FULL turboback

ok thanks for clarifying even then your major power adders are still not there which is unreal, saw you were doing the cams maybe (if you can afford) do a fmic at the same time but i think its cool you are wringing out every bit of the stock turbo small hotside 8 turbo

well im tuning it on 93oct in about an hr so i will post that result. i would imagine it makes 350 on 93 if it made this on e85. we will find out in a bit. hopefully he extracted the broken bolt in his radiator bracket and its not being held by zipties anymore

also Zack, i highly doubt its a smaller housing on the turbo.. it has to be the bigger 10.5 id imagine that came on some 8 turbos. the cars a 2005.. i dont know what year they started doing the bigger housings on the 8 turbo though. do you?

cool look forward to the 93 results. only reason i assumed it was the 9.8 side is because his car is listed as an 03 in his sig but if it is an 05 then yup 10.5

he must have upgraded to a 10.5 or if he bought it used then the previous owner did the upgrade because 03's definately came with 9.8 hotside. (someone correct me if i am wrong though). good luck with the tune it is cool to see all these stock turbos making big power for sure

^ was wondering that too Tom, I think I could tell by looking at the numbers on the inlet side. If I removed the maf / intake
