STWHY?'s 93oct and E85 comparison

I want to start off by thanking Fast_Freddie for tuning my car, he was super patient and meticulous Started off by installing and AEM UEGO,his AEM UEGO serial logging cable and a set of FIC High Impedance 1100cc injectors. We did the 93oct tune last weekend on the 18th, and was provided a base map to run a few tanks of E85 on to get the mix consistant. Today was the big day and I met Freddie at his house at 9am, watched some WRC on HD Theatre, and proceeded to tune the car. We did hit a few snags along the way today... my boost controller hasn't been touched in about a year so the adjustment screw was siezed, fixed that and set it for 30 psi, and Freddie worked his magic. When 3rd gear was dialed in went to do a 4th gear pull and the LICP coulper decided it wasn't up for the task. So we had to limp the car back to Freddie's house about 15 minutes away, take off the front bumper and reinstall everything. All was well and we went back out to see how 4th gear looked on a few pulls... beautiful! Thanks again Freddie, you are the man! On to the graph!

93oct- 25psi
E85- 30psi

68 hp gain
56 tq gain

Mods:
Injen piping kit with intake
TBE
Buschur MBC
FIC High Z 1100s
Stock long block, manifolds, BOV, Intercooler and o2 housing!

Are those the only mods done to the car? If so, that is some great power.

Thanks guys, the car seriously woke up after we started tuning it on E85! Worked the tune for about 2 hours making sure every part of the tune was good, not just a 3rd gear WOT pull. The car pulls smooth no matter the RPM you begin from!

Justin, glad the wife likes it!

That is an awesome tune. I guess I need to jump on the E 85 team. I am close to 400 now without E85 and I am craving more power. Just need to upgrade the clutch first hehe

Oh yeah, everybody is telling me to get on it. We have one pump right by my house that I know of. When I travel, im on my punp, but track nights, E85 will do some justice. I will smoke the local Z06's even more lol.

Congrats Justin. Even though I am trying to sell the car I might need to just swap over just to stay ahead of the curve
