10 sec, stock motor, daily driven Evo 9 6-speed

Retuned a loyal customers Evo a couple weeks ago on Tephra V7.. his goal was to break into the 10's and today he did it!

This is a untouched stock motor, stock cams, stock 6 speed, stock ECU, street tires, and full weight.

2006 Evo 9 MR

Mods:

Stock Cams
Stock ECU with speed density mod
Stock head/block/internals

3" TBE no cat
Upper/Lower Nisei IC Pipes
FMIC (not sure what kind)
Tial bov (VTA)
BlaqOps progressive Double Pumper fuel system
FIC 1200cc injectors
GM 3 port boost solenoid
OmniPower 4bar map sensor
35R .63 hotside
Tubular Exhaust Manifold
Custom intake tube with K&N cone filter
GST Motorsports tune with Tephra V7
E85

500 whp / 391 wtq



Custom boost curve to keep the rods happy at peak torque.

10.9@130 mph

Backed it up with another run: 10.9@131:

Did you need to shift into 5th gear with the 6 speed?

For 130mph, yes, very much so. 4th only goes to 11Xmph depending on rev limiter.

awesome. people keep putting down better and better times with stock motors/head... that is great, especially having to shift into 5th
