This Evo 8 made great power for our dyno. Highest stock motor BBK Full on E85 on our dyno to date. Weighs just a little over 3000lbs as well so it's a quick one.

445 whp / 394 wtq on E85 (28.5 psi)

369 whp / 326wtq on 91 oct (25 psi)

+76 whp / 68 wtq gain from 91 to E85!

Here is a overlay of the BBK Full on E85 and a ported stock Evo 9 turbo on E85 (same car):

Sexeh, and awesome peak numbers and killer powerband!

Is timing and/or boost a bit low in the area around boost onset? Kinda weird to see torque go up and then slowly rise like that, definitely safe/nice on the stock bottom-end though

Nice work as always bryan.

I know bryan had mentioned to me on a couple of the cars recently he had been tapering the boost and tune so it didn't spike the torque... so it doesnt break things

Pretty smart

Extremely nice power band! That is a really nice/smart torque curve Bryan. Nice work.

Why hold the torque back so far compared to the stock turbo? That car must feel really weak below 5k RPM compared to when it was on the stock turbo.

Me too and we ran it that way for a while but now I no longer have a daily driver so I gotta make sure the Evo lasts until I can pick something else up. Really I don't notice the lack in tq though down there. The car weighs 2980lbs with a full tank so I moves alright since I only see sub 4k when first getting on the gas. Also if anything it helps with traction in first through thrid which it still has major issues with.

Not at all. I'm on 285 wide advan ADO7's and it still spins all four in first and second roll ons. Plus now it makes 70whp more out at the top end so if it gets spinning in 2nd it continues to spin. The stock turbo tune was a balls out tune at around 31/32psi to see where we could push the stock turbo to(my car was the highest hp stock turbo VIII on this dyno). This tune is a nice street tune at 28.5psi since it's my daily driver.
