More BBK Full E85 goodness

A customer came back in for a retune for E85 and to touch up his 91 oct tune as he added larger injectors and upgraded his BOV

2004 Evo GSR

Mods:

CBRD BBK Full Ported
Titek v2 02 Housing
Titek Down Pipe
RRE Rally Cat (resonated test pipe)
Greddy Ti-C
FIC BlueMax 1250cc Injectors
Cosworth 272 M2's

ARP Headstuds
Perrin FMIC
AMS LICP
AEM Short Ram Intake
Walboro Fuel Pump
Synchronic BOV
GM Boost Solenoid

91 and E85 tunes

Car gained some power on 91 since last time and made great power on E85!

435 whp / 384 wtq on E85 @ 28psi across

358 whp / 318 wtq on 91 @ 24.5 psi across

+77 whp / +66 wtq on E85

Any thoughts on what a 65mm TB, ported intake and exhaust mani would add to these figures? This is pretty similar to what I'll be running soon.

Edit: Hmm, I have a IX though...

Would most likely hold the power up top a little longer with some small peak power gains.

BBK + high octane = win. Perfect setup for safely maxing out the stock block, and I agree: ported parts will help with response and hold power better up top.

Yet another good thread with solid repeatable results. It's so refreshing to be able to relate to your dyno results even though you are halfway across the country!!!

Looks like these turbos are real winners, and your dyno just shows honest unmolested results over and over again.

It would be a bit weird to see e-85 results making 10-15whp more from pump gas right??

Bravo Brian!!!

the one thing about Bryan is he does a very nice job of explaining the results, not just posting them...

I really like his feedback

cheers

Bryan is WIN for providing good data. BBK, E-85 + Bryan are WIN for nice flat torque curve.

You do realize it's on a Mustang dyno, and that Bryan is probably one of the best ECU tuners in the country, right?
