STM's Ricer Evo VIII... Tuning in Progress!

If you need some background info on the car check here

FIRST DYNO RUN!!

I JUST uploaded that video, so if it doesn't work, give it like 5 minutes or so.

That was the first run. I've got more videos coming. Let me tell you this is the coolest sounding car I have EVER heard! The resonation is deep, smooth and loud, the spool-up is insane and when it gets up around 6k I can physically FEEL the pressure... never felt that before with any car on the dyno.

And it feels GOOD!!!

Currently we are at about 470hp on 24 psi...

Basic info:
STM Forward Facing Turbo Kit (PTE 6262)
2.0 Buschur Block
Really big cams
Driven Innovations Intake Manifold
TRE Tranny and T-Case
E85
ID 2200cc
AEM EMS
STM Tuned!

We will keep you updated as we progress!

***on a side note... the dyno is directly behind my office wall and as he does another pull and I'm still grinning from ear to ear! It sounds F'N AMAZING!!!

i have followed this build for the last year and all i can say is this is the most beautiful drag car on this forum by far. the time and detail the team put into this project will definitely inspire a lot of members on this forum to take their car to another level. i cant wait to see the high boost dyno pulls and first passes at the track.

How can you blame them? Subaru is the best, everyone knows that.

Last year for the 10.0 passes, the car was on C-16 / 38-39 psi 35r.

We are done tuning for the night. Going to change the oil and check all that good stuff and do some more tomorrow...

However... we just took it for a ride down the street to get E85... it's WAY faster already than it was last year The car is retarded. That's all I have to say! Gleason got some video I can't wait to see it! I tried getting some in-car launch action... but the car threw me around and my finger released the battery Fail.

Oh, and not married, but Emery and I have been together for almost 10 years now... I like to keep my shiny diamonds on my cars

Nov 9th 2009: 552 hp @ 31 psi
