500whp 100% stock appearing turbo

It's been a target that some (including me) have been targeting.... hitting 500whp on our low reading Mustang dyno, with a California friendly 100% stock appearing turbo (no recast compressor housing, no metal or non-stock looking induction tube, etc)

This weekend, on Halloween, that target was reached. Approx 64F out, so not too cold, not too hot.

Previous stock appearing turbo record on our dyno was 480whp, held by the same car. For reference, the highest Evo 9 stock turbo record so far on this dyno is 403whp and ran 11.4@120 full weight.

Details:

2006 Evo GSR

Modifications:

2.3L stroker
Oversized valves in head (no head porting)
3" Downpipe
3" Agency Power catback
RRE rally cat (resonated test pipe)
Titek V2 tubular 02 housing
Ported stock exhaust manifold
CBRD BBK Full XL Beta (ported)
GST open cone air filter
Perrin FMIC
AMS LICP
Synapse BOV
Cosworth M2 mivec cams
FIC "BlueMax" 1250cc injectors
AEM fuel Rail
AMS fuel return line
Denso IKH24 spark plugs (1 heat range colder)
Walboro fuel pump
GM 3 port boost solenoid using ECU-controlled boost
Stock ECU
Stock MAF
Stock Intake Manifold
Stock Upper IC pipes
E85

31psi peak, 28/27psi up top

503 whp / 494 wtq

4th gear, we where having clutch and/or wheel spin issues on the dyno so that dip after peak torque is a byproduct of that (boost dipped there a bit too).

The car is now completely out of fuel so it will need a double pumper moving forward (I had to back it off a bit as the AFR was becoming a bit leaner than I would like). Usually single pumps max out around 460-470 on our dyno but this car for some reason didn't run out of the pump until now.

Wow! Nice results. 300ft/lbs of torque by 3000 rpm's. Your torque is very high all around. It must pull like a rocket freight train.

The first dyno chart of a BBK XL. This thread should be big.

Bryan, does the car have a stealth intake using the stock box?

Bryan please lay out the specs of the BBK XL? This looks great so far? How do you think it compares to the Reds that you have dynoed? It def spools quicker!

It's a BBK XL beta so not the final product yet.

The owner didn't hack up his airbox to be stealth but it's using the same filter that is compatible with the stealth OEM airbox mod.

See above on final product info.

To be honest, I haven't had a well setup FPred through the shop yet on E85 to make a accurate comparison.
