I think a taper is kinda typical anytime you have a tapering boost pressure, the boost is coming up to 42psi and sloping steadily down to 35psi at the end. My piston speed is getting pretty high since its a stroker anyway. When you run the car at a flat 35psi you dont get any "nose over" on the power, but you also end up with less power
The oil pressure can be fixed with special pan work, I think Buschur has a pan fix. Maybe I should try it, but that is a stock pan and pick up, and I like to run "normal" parts as much as possible to show the "normal" problems that "normal" end users run into. I can't take the car to the track this way, it will hurt the oil pump and turbo to pump foam like that under load.
Booston!

Uh..............yes, we have a fix for the oil pan but we are not selling it, it's too difficult to make and I have no interest in mass producing the product or fix, it's a PITA to make it all.
Robert is correct though, absolutely there is a problem with hard acceleration and the stock EVO pan/pick up. The pick up is in the front and isn't designed to keep oil in/around the pick up if the car accelerates very hard, it will suck the pan dry in no time because all the oil sloshes to the back of the pan.
We've been building modifying pans for a long time, we built the first RWD 4g63, remember?
Anyway, the solution may very well be for people to buy the Moroso pan, we don't run them/sell them and I've never looked at one but someone else in this thread suggested it.

What about the people that run the buschur engines and encounter this problem? Are you going to discuss your fix even though you won't make or sell it?

The AMS Oil Pan is made for them by Moroso. I would definitely be rocking this if I was running a turbo of this caliber.
AMS Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII/VIII/IX Wet Sump Oil Pan
The AMS EVO VII/VIII/IX Wet Sump Oil Pan is designed to keep oil where it needs to be even in the most severe racing scenarios. The stock oil pan for the EVO did not take into account the effects that sustained high speed turns or acceleration can have on the oil. During these situations oil can be pushed to one side of the pan causing vital engine components to be starved of oil. The AMS Wet Sump Oil Pan will not only accommodate another 1.5 quarts of oil but by using a trap and kick outs, it enables oil to stay where it is needed. The added capacity and aluminum construction have the added benefit of keeping the oil cooler. The AMS wet sump pan is a must for every type of racing.
Features
* 100% 6061 aluminum construction. Hand TIG welded
* Additional 1.5 quart oil capacity over stock
* Front kick out area to allow for more oil capacity
* Integrated Trap door preventing oil from shifting during lateral acceleration
* 3/4” deeper than stock pan
* Custom oil pickup
* Integrated crank oil stripper
* Complete bolt on with no other modifications needed
* Bolts right up the factory or aftermarket oil return lines
* Adds more clearance for factory and aftermarket downpipes
* Unrivaled fit and finish
Kit Includes
* Oil Pan
* Oil Pan Baffle Plate
* Pickup
* All necessary mounting hardware
Specifications
* 6061 hand TIG welded aluminum construction
* 6.5 quart oil capacity
* 3/16” thick aluminum construction
Applications
* Mitsubishi Evolution 7, 8, 9 Models
* Fits all USDM, JDM and European Models
"This item does not work with a stock lower ic pipe"
We also recommend the use of the Moroso Accumulator that can be found in the "Block Components" section to be used with this oil pan also.
Every engine block is different. Some clearancing may be necessary due to the difference in stroke and rod sizes in various EVO engine combinations. Test fit ALL pieces before installation and be aware that some minor grinding may be necessary. Do not use any pre-made gasket with this pan use RTV similar to what came from the factory.
Made in the USA by Moroso for AMS.
-Jalal

Sure I would of course discuss the solution with someone running our engine. It's just not something I am interested in building. The problem shows up on the logs as Robert just showed, on a low 9 second EVO/8 second EVO the problem is even worse. There are a number of solutions, crank scraper is one, an accumulator is a good idea. Then there is the pan. We cut everything out of a stock pan, built new baffling and built a new pick up.
