DLL: 422whp and 368wtq, not sure on the accuracy of this...
So I was messing around today, loaded Tephra v7 and wanted to make sure that everything was working alright. In the spring I had 365WHP and 359WTQ @ 28PSI running E85 with a my stock IX turbo at DB Performance on their Dyno Dynamics. Anyways I went out and did a couple pulls, then I decided to try out DLL...
The HP seems a bit high, but the TQ is pretty close to what I was making in the spring. here are the results, still running E85 at 28PSI. --

It's pretty accurate when you use accurate inputs: make sure you have the true weight of the car, gear ratios, cD, and a level surface w/ minimal wind when you do your logs. Not sure how you edited the run, but I'll usually show the full slope of the graph where the power starts to fall off later in the RPM range. I've noticed if you cut the run off prior to the power dropping it will show a much higher HP number.

That's an odd looking graph, did you side-step the clutch at 3000RPMs or what? Not used to seeing a run start at 0HP around 3000rpms... what gear did you use?

I just started the logging at about 30mph in 3rd gear.
I did change the gear ratios and the weight was pretty close to what my car weighs with me inside it. I'll mess with it some more this week and start the logs at a lower RPM.

Also, DLL read more like a dynojet (which read higher), then a Dyno Dynamics.
A Dyno Dynamics dyno is a low-reading dyno, more like a mustang.
A Dynojet dyno is a higher reading dyno.

That's a really bizarre torque curve. I've never really scene one that just continues to climb, especially on the stock turbo. Typically it will make peak torque at 4000 RPM or so and then fall off. I'd try some more, start logging when you start the car and make some pulls. Then isolate the pulls for the DLL shots.

^ this hasnt been my experience. chukee, what settings did you use in DLL? whp seems way high for your setup, but then again its a little colder out now. I saw similar numbers to my dyno dynamics numbers using the dll default correction. We can compare notes if ya want

Also, everyone should just be using VDR anyways.
Has more dyno settings
Has "max RPM trim"
Is free
and..

A lot of us like DLL because its faster. Don't get me wrong I like VDR but DLL is easier to pull graphs up on.
Your graph looks messed up, power shouldn't start from 0.

I dont think DLL is faster at all. To me, DLL takes longer but I guess thats my opinion.

No not on opinion, a fact that your slower at working DLL then VDR when it takes less actions to accomplish the same thing.
My DLL and VDR graphs are nearly identical in evom mode.
