FP Red - Aquamist and Pump Gas 529 WHP

This is a Evo IX that we did some drop in pistons on with Buschur Stage IV and a FP Red turbo

Pump gas with Aquamist alcohol injection

30 psi peak boost tapering

Stock ecu with Dyno Flash tune

I like the red a lot - just as I am getting so happy and used to the Red now the black comes around and makes the Red old news LOL. Hopefully this will mean that reds are easier to get.

Listen I'm not a fan of DynoFlash by any means but if you don't like his work or your experience you should keep it to yourself. I'm not a fan of his work and he won't even tune my car again but I'm not going to bash what he does. You happy with the work that another shop does for you so just keep the negative stuff to yourself it's very anti productive.

Yeah your right I don't like Al at all but that is no reason to continue to bash him for a negative experience. Yes I do wonder why people in my area still get tuned by him but that is their choice. I just feel like the continued bashing is anti-productive. I keep my negative feedback to myself about him or anyone who is a noob that ask my advice I try to refer them to another tuner in the area...that's all.

Look I understand your pain and I remember reading your post about your DynoFlash experience I think it was back on Fathers day and that was a Cluster F of a thread. So I'm not saying you shouldn't be upset with what happened with your tune and I'm not saying I shouldn't be upset with my tuning experience either. But can the bashing be left alone? This is a site used to gather information of others experiences parts, tuning, engine builds whatever. Your happy with Pete and DG and I know for a fact they are a great shop and tuner. I would go to them but they are too far from where I live I go to The Shop that is where I feel comfortable with getting work done and my car tuned.

Ok so I will be the one to ask an informative question. Al which Aquamist kit do the customer use, was it M1 or 50/50, and how many miles where on the car when you did the drop ins. I'm thinking about doing the same thing but DB and Jimmy informed me that because of my mileage I might have to do a full block build. Good job on the tune BTW

Al, if you don't mind sharing, what jets are you using with the aquamist, and which model?

This was a HFS 1 kit and I am using the two largest jets

With the stock fmic in place you really need the extra cooling effect of the 2nd jet if not for anything else

On my test the car picked up 30 whp just from adding the 2nd jet with no tuning change other than comensating for the a/f enrichment

Of course on a car with a more suitable fmic the gains realized from additional alcohol injection would be less significant
