DynoFlash Tune on my Evo 8 351WHP / 343WTQ @ 24PSI 93OCT

I went to ICS Proformace. I was very happy with the tune! The car gave Al problems all day long. Just stupid stuff all day. But at the end of the day, it was running great! Very happy with the power it is making.

I drove 2hrs and 30mins each way to get there.. It was so worth the trip and will be returning there when i mod my car more.

AL is a funny dude haha and also a great tuner!

It was HOTTT day when it was on the dyno... 96 degrees the dyno sheet reads.. The car is running 24 PSI... Car made 351whp / 343 wtq

+1 to Big AL

i'm sorry to break this new's to u but i can bet u your car is not making thAT POWER...what al does is show u the highest number on the dyno and then takes the car by himself for a road tune...i know for sure he didnt take u along then de tunes it and then your on your way...u should take it to a dyno just for one pull and you'll see for yourself it makes that power....

most tuners will do that...they dont trust the drivers enough for an aggressive tune

hell i wouldnt either, ive seen people flooring it in 5th gear from like 35 MPH,the tuner is doing you a favor by detuning

How can you blame them? Subaru is the best, everyone knows that.

agree with you 100% i would reather get detuned to 330whp then blow up and by a new motor n yes every tuner does...

i had an STi making 368whp n it trap the same MPH in the 1/4 mile as the Evo so i know it is making power with almost the same 60ft...

STi trap : 110.82
Evo Trap: 110.87

Same track about same temp outside to haha...

Well my tuner made I think 480 and when they were done they back the car down to the 469. That power is very safe and reliable to work with on pump gas. To the OP if you happy with the tune and the car is running safe then that is all you should be concerned with

Thats stupid. Why would he detune a car running 24 psi and less then 400whp?... there is no reliability issues on power like that.

Just to assume that every tuner always de-tunes every car is rediculous. Maybe on cars running big power on stock block, but stock turbo 24 psi.... i doubt it.

This thread has flying poo... LOL.

For whats its worth every time my car was been on a dynojet it it was leaner and hit lower loads cells then it did on the street prior to going on to it.

The road checkup after a dyno tune is a good idea IMHO. My car has been on 2 MDs and 3 Dynojets. The car always run smoother on the MD then DJs especially when starting from a low rpm. Very close to the street when on a PROPERLY SET UP Mustang dyno.

a DJ loads the car too much at low RPM and not enough at high RPMs it seems to me after me expierences with both and the road with evoscan.
