TS 6265 hawtness @ DG Motors
So it's finally done (for now)! The goals that I have had for my car are starting to become more of a reality. I met a lot of great people while doing this. Let me say that Jim from JMFab is awesome. He kept me up to date the whole time the "kit" was being fabricated for my car and was a real pleasure to do business with! He even sent me pictures of the work in progress. He was honest, patient and a big help in helping me make decisions.
I recently took a visit to D&G Motors and they installed some goodies I had for the car.
They installed:
Precision TS 6265
JMFabrications T4 TwinScroll Turbo kit w/ open dump tubes
JMFabrications Drag Intake Manifold
Modified (by JMfabrications) Buschur DP
CBRD Radiator
CBRD Intercooler
2 Tial 44 WGs
An additional inline Walbro fuel pump
245/40ZR-17 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec tires
I've heard of D&G Motors on the forums but I wasn't really going to travel up there for this install without a good reason. Charlie aka Kreionic does tuning at D&G and told me I should give the shop a shot. I trust Charlie so off I went. The bar was set pretty high since Charlie gave his recommendation, so I was expecting nothing less then perfection. Originally, I was told we could get all this equipment installed in two days. This was news to Pete and the crew at D&G. They worked late into the night on Friday to get this work done on the car so it could be done on Saturday. But we ran into some issues...when they started installing the turbo kit it became apparent that the LICP was about 6 inches too short. This was my fault because I figured that my aftermarket AMS LICP would fit with the CBRD IC. Pete sat down with me and explained that he could put a coupler on it (essentially a band-aid) and send me on my way but he can't allow himself to do that because it would probably blow off on my trip home. I remember him saying, look give me a week and we'll have this car done right. I remember him saying "Trust me, it will look beautiful. You'll just have to trust me." So I did. No matter how many times I called the shop (and I called a lot), Pete was readily available to give updates and answer any questions. He ran into some other issues with fitment but Pete worked hard to get a fix and eventually the car was finished! You can judge for yourself at the job they did at D&G Motors.
Finally, Charlie (as usual) worked his magic and made this machine come alive.
In addition to the parts installed the current mods are :
Stock motor and head
HKS Super Suction intake filter with 4" pipe
Cosworth M2 cams
Buschur TBE
Supertech springs and retainers
Walbro 255hp
APS Twin Vent BOV
It can make more power but the APS just won't hold boost. I need to swap it out with a Tial or Forge BOV. I'm also on the stock motor and can't afford to even THINK about replacing the motor at this time. DynoDynamics @ 1.0 correction btw. When I get a new BOV I'll post a much better looking dyno. In the meantime the car feels awesome!!
I'd just like to say an extra thank you to Charlie for being there the entire process from buying my first part to getting it all installed and tuned. His insight on everything really helped make my dreams a reality! I can't say enough good things about this guy. Please do not hesitate to use him as your tuner for your car. Thanks again!

Just FYI I think you have the wrong dyno plot on that sheet. The printed # says 445whp but the actual HP plot never goes above 425.

Something you may want to check on the APS BOV, verify when it is idling that it's not venting by putting your hand in front of it and feeling for air. On mine w/ speed density I had to crank that adjustment screw pretty much flush w/ the top of the BOV. Just a suggestion, good power too
