Spyros
can you tell me what RPM it will idle at and how will it idle?

so your saying ull be using 8 injectors? is there 2 nozzles on those 9000cc injectors? if so how does it all fit together in the fuel rail and cylindar?

So thats 9000cc per minute at max duty cycle?

@Stealth- I'm sure they use the "small" 2450cc injectors at low load/rpm and dial in the "big" injectors once load and rpm ramp up.

But its a hermaphrodite that doesn't belong to any camp, really.

Spyro's car at least uses Mitsubishi as a blue print. Domestics have done this for years as their aftermarket has them covered from top to bottom. At least now there is the option to do it with a Mitsubishi.
I didn't post the link to the Norwood Max-4 to start some sort of "well look at THIS" argument. I simply thought Spyros would have found it to be an interesting read.

Also, i think you might want to read the article before you make wild assumptions. Looking at just one of the pictures of the head would have told you its got 4 valves per cylinder, so its obviously not a hemi, its pentroof. The car is essentially one guy with a lot of ideas and the ability to make them work, much like Spyros it seems.

Okay great, it still is irrelevant to this thread.

I have not much time to answer to all questions,

Derivative, yes I know this project. It’s not proper for me to compare another guys project with our. To give u an idea, we have different targets and the way that we think as matter the high end tuning. If u see from my old posts I always care about HP/per ltr. Its very important for us to obtain as much power from small efficient cc engines. It’s the most difficult and expensive way to make tuning progress. Its easy for us to make an engine with large displacement with lower rpms and boost. We don’t care.
This year that pass, we finish a 2007 project with 740hp per litter, a 2009 project with 850hp per litter, we are not satisfied. 2010 project 4g63 will finish early 2011 with 900-930hp per/ltr, that’s why we have already started the +2000hp project to pass the 1000hp per/ltr. We are not happy thinking that the BMW 1500cc destroked 4cylinder engine before 20years had 1000hp/per ltr with old school parts from the self. But, this is generally, if I analyse it more and be precise BMW at qualification rounds had 77psi to produce 1500hp, so they had 1500cc x 5,2dar = 6300cc / 1500hp = 238 per litter, and we had 2154cc x 3,2bar = 6892 / 1530 = 222hp per / ltr. But that was our 2007 project. Our 2009 cosworth engine had 2000cc x 2 bar = 4000cc / 1050hp = 264hp per ltr. with just race fuel not even methanol. And if I analyze it more with VE efficiency our 2ltr engine had 264hp at 9000rpms and F1 had 238hp at 10500rpms. So 10500/9000 = 1.16 x 264hp = 306 HP we will have at 10.500rpms with our 2009 design engine setup. And if I analyse it further if we just use the BMW F1 fuel to our engine will have 306hp x 1.18% = 361hp. That's why I tell u that we must double their HP per ltr. But although this, its shame on us to compare 2009 design with a stock 602 BMW engine from the self 25 year back, shame on us.

With the technology and knowledge that we have in our hands in 2010 we must have the double to be fair as I explain u before. But these are customers cars and we must be careful to not damage that they have pay, just for our satisfaction. We will try to make our best to brake the record without our customers project damage.

INA, no we are still working vw projects ofcourse, I will post u some pics here in my next post. We had a vw high efficiency 1870cc 16v engine ready to hit +1500 . We have this setup ready from 2007. Next post will be for u.

Bob tm, we have already tune- dyno some evo X and we have outspool the stock X turbo many times. I will post some dynoplots. We already make some custom parts and cams for these engines.

Bob tm, we have tune more than 40 evos with stock turbos with and with out tubular exhaust manifolds. There is no difference with the stock turbo. The stock turbo because of the small turbine wheel-housing no matter the exhaust manifold size-diameter-length goes to restriction. With the stock manifold we had more than 680whp and 47psi of boost. When I will have time I will tell u more about this. We have flowbench it with cylinder head installed. Its more than 2 hours writing.

Stealthmatt I will answer u to ur pm.

GaryChios, welcome.

The GTX3582 test is scheduled to be on Monday to the dyno to the 4g63 platform. We will try to max it out. We couldn't test it sooner on public the specific units before released. As I know early Jan will be all the line available.

We have already make an upgrade version for this, we will test it after the test of original gtx 3582, 3076 and 3071.

we have see already the gtx4202r to the dyno. There is also new 80 and 88 11blade upgrade available.

More pics on Monday with the dynoplots.

Yeah, the first version wasn't as nice. I do not care that you "right" about something that is pointless.

That pretty much sums it up.

Awesome project, great work. Its great to see the platform being pushed to the limits with seemingly no budget limitations.
