EnglishRacing 918whp Drag Car
So in the quest to make our Drag evo more simple (Less parts to go wrong or cause problems) Lucas decided to try the SparkTech Non CDI. At the moment its only on Q16 and a lower hp tune so he can get his license and get a feel for the car.
We were able to run the plug gap around .025 on the CDI Drag ignition last year. We had to drop the gap around a .020 for the NON CDI to be smooth, But at that gap there is no sign of any problems.
With VP and more boost/timing we'll have the car back up to its normal 1050whp for competition. New this year is the Non CDi and the Magnus cast intake. It will be getting ID2000s later in the month as well since they are already proving to be a superior injector to most on the market.
Magnus Motorsports also has supplied a mechanical fuel pump adapter to switch the car to a cam driven pump for max possible flow. Didnt get a chance to get that on this year (possibly a winter project) and then we'll start thinking about E98 which is our fuel of choice.

Hasnt been back on the scales, but nixxing the air to water was worth 150#, the new driver is worth another 40#, the new cage is all chrome moly, so we should be in the 2580 range or thereabouts.
