918whp through SparkTech Non CDI ignition

So in my quest to make our Drag evo more simple. Less parts to go wrong or cause problems. I decided to try SparkTech non CDI. At the moment I am only on Q16 and lower hp tune to just get my license and get a feel for the car.

If things go how I like I will try and get the VP Import fuel back in for the BOTI event in two weeks and we will just see what the limit of the ignition is.

I really wanted to get the car on E98 but just ran out of time and just want to run the car.

We were able to run the plug gap around .025 on the CDI Drag ignition last year. We had to drop the gap around a .020 for the NON CDI to be smooth, But at that gap there is no sign of any problems.

That system is very impressive. Wasnt the previous record on the non-cdi system like 700whp?

Just got a set of the ID2000 might try next week to see how far we can get on his current fuel pump to go on E98.

The $80 5gal pails of Q16 are killing the bank account.

Correct. Its back together with most of the old setup, 10:1, S3s, GSC CNC head, solid block, etc. New this year is the Magnus and Sparktech Non-CDi.

...and for our next trick we are going to put it on the stock ECU...maybe
