Isn't the BBK rated at 54 lbs / min as well ?
Also, shouldn't 54 lbs / min equate to a possible ~540 hp (crank) ?

Good question, where did you get that info from? I'd be interested in reading more...

did you use the 25psi gate or the 18psi one? I saw that you were holding 28+ out the top. I would love to know which. Thanks

Congratz! Sounds like you have a really fun car! Get that motor built/rebuilt and have some fun with it!
From what I gather your saying this turbo spools up faster than the white and stock?
The only thing I would love to see from FP is a side by side comparo with the red same setup and dyno.

I'd imagine that 25psi one would be pretty crazy for anything but high octane or E85... won't go below 25psi, could hold better up top I believe.. try to search heavy duty wastegate actuators, you'll find some good descriptions... that 25psi one would just be a bit more extreme than most

Ya the 25psi gate is the new one from FP that you can get with the RED or GREEN. I have seen a few people already run it on there RED on pump 93 at 29-30lbs and be okay, but typically speaking it would be more ideal for a pump+meth or E-85 setup running higher boost levels up to 35psi.

that's correct. Turns out the precisions might be a little smaller than 1200, but also the tune is set for a solid 11.5 (gas wideband) all the way up, which might be why others can run them if they're letting it lean out a bit more on the top end on E85..just speculation.
Either way, Switzer's has something in the 1430 range we're going to try once I get the engine put back together

Any chance that you or Switzer can send me the runfile so I can load it into Winpep and compare all aspects to my Red run on E85? Spool, boost, afr's, torque/power at varying areas, etc
Thanks
Sean

Awesome read - all the way from Iraq!
There is/was an awful lot to learn throughout this thread. The biggest thing in my opinion is that statement that 500whp/500wtq is pushing the bottom end. Are these based on Mustang or Dynojet numbers?
