mellon tune 30~psi green turbo 93 only

well i am pretty surprised so far that i am able to run this level of boost(also note i have a defib boost gauge so i am not sure how accurate it is) on this octane with no meth etc. 0 knock (couple of 1's at full boost) but otherwise knock free. also note i have the stock wastegate actuator which probably account for the torque taper as i hold about 23psi to redline . this is not the final tune although i suspect we are close. the car is a blast to drive. i cannot imagine it in the new hampshire winter when it gets very cold in the winter. i have been working with chris for over a year now with various stages of tuning based on my mod changes. his customer service response is unsurpassed in my opinion.

What load levels does it hit at peak tq? Just curious. Looks pretty nice!

I've been wondering if melon was still at it... he's always seemed very helpful... after being out of the game for a year a lot has changed so I will probably seek his services to get me up to date.

Any plans to track or dyno the car?

Thats Chris for ya!! He tuned me at 28psi on my green w/ no knock as well. I've even had it at 30psi once or twice w/ no knock just to test it out. He really knows his way around 93 octane, lol... Great lookin' tune so far man!

congrats. What kind of timing do you have at redline?

EDIT: I also have the 9 actuator and I'm not holding much boost to redline either. I'm going to post up my dyno in a little bit. I'm thinking about modding the 9 actuator to hold more boost at redline. I wonder if that has been done yet. During my search on the forums, David Bushur posted that the upgraded actuators that he and FP sell are basically evo 8 actuators that have been shortened...

I have a simular setup. It appears your boost (can tell by TQ) is coming on a little late. The green should spool quite a bit faster than you have there. I say ditch the MBC and get an EBC or tune the boost with the stock solonoid. You get a lot more control and can set duty to hold for better spool. Just a thought.

Once you get your boost issues resolved you should hold at least 26 to redline. Then you won't fall off so much on HP in the higher RPM.

Torque is a blast! !

Mellon is pretty darn good ! !
