Compustar remote start error 01

Lately I tried to auto start my car with compustar 901ss 2 way on Mitsubishi lancer evolution x gsr 2011 and it's giving me an error 01 on the remote which stands for engine. It shows that it's already running when it's not. Anyone know how I can fix this?

The main question is was there a tach wire hooked up or is it sensing voltage? Hopefully a tach wire was connected and it just needs to be relearned.

Start the vehicle with the key, press and hold the foot brake, and then press and hold the start button (1way) or button 2 (2way) for 2.5 sec. The parking lights will then flash to show whether or not the Tach Signal was learned:
1 parking light flash – Tach Signal accepted
3 parking light flashes – Tach Learn error
If you receive the Tach Learn error flashes it will be followed by a series of diagnostic flashes:
1 Option 2-10 is not in default setting 1
2 Key is in the off position
3 Bad tach signal. Find a different wire for Evos, the best wire is the tach wire located at the Ecu under the glovebox.

I tried it and it flashed once so tach accepted. It still won't work though what do I need to do now? It still does the reservation mode when I pull out key still runs until I close the door. But still get the error 01 on remote.

That's going to fall a little outside the realm of internet troubleshooting, for me anyway. I'd try to find an installer you trust.

Do you know how to reset the settings to default?
