Project Shhhh!

Well I just got back from a road trip with the EVO and I'm annoyed with the road noise. Rather than just buy a new car appropriate for my usage, I've decided to quiet down the EVO and figured I'd start a thread to document my attempts.

Goal: Reduce road noise without covering up engine and exhaust noise too much.

Current Mods (that affect noise):
TBE w/ Greddy EVO2 Catback
RRE No-Name Clutch (loud as hell!)
Walbro FP (also loud!)
1 layer of B-Quiet on the cabin floor

Future Mods:
2 layers of B-Quiet on floor, door panels, and trunk floor/walls
1 layer of B-Quiet on trunk lid and rear speaker shelf (possibly roof)
1 layer of Raamat Ensolite on the floor, door panels, trunk floor, trunk lid, and roof (if I do the roof)
Exedy Clutch
Quieter FP (I gotta figure this one out)

How do I know it works?
I'm gonna pick up a cheap db meter to test before and after. Obviously I already have a layer of sound deadening on the car so it should be a bit quieter than stock. Planning on ordering this one...

lol, I had different goals for the car when I bought it. Don't worry some of those are on the list.
