double din from japanparts.com???
The only place i could find a double din that was the orignal color is here.
http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...ey=180-042-001
Does anyone know how long it will take for this to arrive in Texas? Also, has anyone used this online store? Are they reliable?

Japanparts.com is one of the most reliable site that pretty much all lancer/evo owners used
the one you saw in there site is the OEM Double din for the jdm evo and most evo owner that did the double din bought it at japanparts.com. It take about 2 week to for you to receive coz it coming straight from japan.

I bought mine from there a few months ago and I got it in under 2 weeks. It actually arrived much faster than I thought it would. I would not hesitate to buy from there again.

This is a replacement part for the jdm evo. Meaning if you like to used a double HU this will replace your USDM bezel just pop out your old single din and install this. It has clips like your usmd one.

sounds great! can't wait to get it in! it will be for a very powerful car pc with touchscreen.
for the a/c relocation i am going to have to do something custom with what I already have. I really am not sure. I will probably take some ideas from other forums. when i find the easiest way i could post a forum of how i do it.

There is a great write-up in the how-to section that shows this idea ^^^ in great detail.

I've heard great things about Japanparts.com and this piece specifically, but have never ordered from the site. Been thinking about moving from my flip display NAV but it isn't a priority. This part and the relocate of the climate control is how I would do it, though.
There is also the orbital but much more expensive, and no longer manufactured. You can find them used, though.
