How do I tell if my used Evo 8 has keyless entry?
Got my car a week or so ago and I would really like it if I had keyless entry but the dang dealership only gave me one key! How do I tell if it has it already?? Thanks..

lol! Same for me. I go only one key and it didn't include the keyless entry. Just go get a cheap alarm installed that has keyless entry. Couldn't cost more than $100 installed.

IIRC only evo's that didn't have factory keyless entry were the RS's

if it is not a RS thsn you do not need to buy ANY system for your EVO you just need a remote and get it programed.

Yeah, your local Mitsubishi dealership should be able to make you duplicate keys and remote. Just bring some kind of proof of ownership like a current insurance card.

IIRC programming a remote requires a MUT that the dealer has.

When my Evo was new I could lock and unlock it from 100 yards away. Now, I have to be standing next to the car. So, the little radios in these things fade. Buy yourself a new one, it will work better.
