the dvd flip out install is very easy, but the bluetooth was tough just because u have to find a place to put all the modules, and evo's dont have alot of space under the dash.

nice install, looks factory

you do any fiberglass for the buttons, or just cut a hole and put it there?

no fiberglass or anything, the flip out just fits perfect in the factory piece and the bluetooth also sits on top of the centerconsule here by a tiny piece of velcro thats not visible from anywhere. everything looks like it came with the car and when the dvd is closed it looks completly stock and does not attract attention.

man that's slick though, you know it's a good install when you can't notice that it was installed.

its a DUAL headunit, i dont know the exact model, i mounted it using the stock mounting brakets, i took them off the stock mitsu headunit and mounted them on the dual using the screws that come with the stock unit, fits perfect and looks almost completly stock.

I just ordered the Kenwood KVT-719DVD. Expensive, but it has what i really want!! I want to be able to look at pics and videos on my thumb drive. It also does high quality sound. I just wish it had 4 or 5 V preouts instead of 2. oh well.

if this was mounted where your gauges are, will it hit the hvac? or when coming out, will it touch the shift knob?

Does yours have a hideaway unit? Mine does. Today im going to install but it looks like I have to put the hideaway unit in the trunk wich means I have to reroute all the rcas and stuff back there which means the damn seats have to come out again.
