Pioneer Avic-n1 install q

hey everyone

finally got a chance to try to put this in the other day, but to no avail. hooked the wiring harness up - the only wires on the harness not hooked up are orange, yellow, and red. Not quite sure what they're for, but guessing def not 4 power. So, hooked it up to see if it'll work - nada. My question is: is it maybe the harness hookup or the harness itself? head unit short? now quite sure, but am facing a 200 buck install if I can't do it.

Yes it is +12v constant (yellow), ign (red), and illumination (orange). Car stereo wire colors are standardized.
