Ravelco is better for thieves trying to steal your car, I was referring more so to car thefts of the items inside. But Ravelco is also a very good idea that I have looked into.
And of course, feel free to add to this.

My car was stolen with ravelco installed, actually a few days later. They simply towed it. While ravelco is good it doesnt stop thieves from towing your car. I say ravelco and alpha locks and you should be okay.
Now its the smash and grab jobs you have to worry about.

Good info. Thanks for the tips
I would add that Evos need a set of lug nut locks, especially for the MRs. They are really easy targets for thieves looking for a nice set of 17" alloy wheels.

well yeah a flat-bed is a different thing. The bottom line if any thieve really really wants your car they will get it. the only thing these deterrents do is discourage them and delay them.

And that is very true. However, a lot of common thieves (such as the ones who break windows for radar detectors and gps units, vandalism, etc) can be turned away from some very small and cheap methods.

Although it is common sense, a thread like this is good because it may shed some light on ideas that you may have never thought of before. I say good post!

And that was my reason for it. I know that a lot of people do not even think about these things until after the fact that their car was broken into... Just a reminder for everyone =), and maybe some new information for the people that have yet to hear it all.

haven't heard of evo's getting stolen, maybe broken into but thats about it. A garage would be a good investment, if not, ravelco or a steering wheel brace?

Evos are stolen all the time... you can browse on here and read a few posts. However, they are broken into much more often, and I figured I'd make a very general thread with a few tips to prevent a big hassle with a broken window (all the glass in the car) and losing valuable items

how to get rid of theives
1- leave valuables in the car
2- sleep in the back seat of the car with a knife and a bat
3- when they break in and sit in the car stab them then pull them out and beat them until they die.
4-?????
