iPhone problem with new headunit

hey everyone, I just installed a pioneer 6000ub with the USB iPod connector. Everything works fine until I had to unplug the iPhone from the adapter. I get no sound from the iPhone. No one can hear me talk and I can't talk to them. Does anyone here have some insight for me.

I have a solution that might work for you. This has happened to me before after using my iPhone on a friends car to receive a call on his car speakers.

Fix
  • Plug in some headphones
  • Hold down the home and power button until it restarts and you see the Apple logo
  • Release the buttons and wait for it to complete power up
  • Unplug headphones.

For whatever reason, sometimes the phone gets confused and thinks that the headphone jack is still hot. Doing this will force it to realize that it is not.

Hopefully this works for you.

Drives: Lancer Evo IX,

all right I'll try it once school is done. But I'm not using the iPod jack I'm using the charging dock thing under it. Is it the same?

Not sure why, but it triggers the same issue. So there should still be a decent chance this will fix your problem. If not, you can try it again but replace the headphone jack with the dock jack. Same idea, plug it in, reset the phone, remove jack.
