What's up guys?
I'm looking to get an Alarm installed , I was recommended Prestige b/c it has a pager. What do you guys think? If not what do you guys recommend?
Pager or not, remote start or not?
I just want to know what should I be looking to spend?
Thanks in Advance

i have a compustar pro-ssr it has a pager, built in turbo timer and a tracking device which can be controlled from home. I got it cheap because i know the installer and he charged me $900 but the regular price is about $1200

I got my own online.. put it in myself. I've done a ton on my own, it's not too bad once you get used to it.
Generally any pager/car starter/alarm combo is going to run you $500 from any installer. Of course a lot of them won't touch the manual transmissions for starters.
Not sure why, since the manual transmission modules make it so it's impossible for you to put the car into gear before you "arm" the car for starting.
If you do it yourself you're looking at somewhere around $200-$250 to buy the module and any extras... and then maybe 4-6 hrs to install it.
