Galant HVAC Relocation Help!

Hey guys

I was getting my Galant hvac relocation with the radio relocation kit put in; I have the double din navi all set up now. The problem is the guys at the shop said I need some sort of wiring harness and a schematic before it's even physically possible to do this swap..
Can you guys lend me some tips or info or where to get this harness? I searched for it on ebay but all I found was the Galant radio wiring harness. Help! I have no way to control the temperature at the moment!

You could just cut the plugs off and extend them to wherever you need them.

There is no pre-made harness to do this. You will have to sit down with the Evo and Galant wiring diagrams and find a way to splice one to the other.

I know a couple of the "on" lights are triggered differently between the two climate controls...that could be a challenge. Also, I think there is a difference in how the signal from the dual pressure switch in the A/C system is passed through the climate control ECU, to the engine ECU, to control engine idle based on the load for the A/C system.

If I also remember properly (big if here), you will need to use the Galant cable for the thermostat as it's a little longer than the Evo's, and will reach to the climate control after it's relocated. I think the air flap cable from the Evo will work...don't hold me to that, though.

Now I see what you're doing. I thought you were just trying to relocate hvac in a Galant. Silly me.
