For those of you who have a flip-out screen and radio relocation...

Hey all, pretty new here as you can see

I wanted to know if anyone relocated their radio down by the shifter, and also has a flip-out screen/navi unit? Is it even possible since the shifter is so close to the radio?

Thanks

Are you talking about the radio relocation kit? Where the gauges are where the radio normally is? If so my friend has one there and it doesn't work too well honestly. It completely blocks off the climate controls.

ahh ok =\ I have 3 gauges and wanted to put them where the radio is right now (stock location), but also enjoy the benefit of having a navi head unit... Guess that's out of the question... Thanks for the input/answers!

Yeah, pick one. Up top you can have gauges or a nav unit. But neither work too well down below IMO.

What about a flip out deck....I have a kenwood deck (its a few years old) but the screen flips down about two inches lower then the deck itself....could this fit down their...I was thinking about doing the same thing but after reading this thread I wonder if it would hit something.
