backgrounds on your navi unit ?

not much more to it than that, just looking for some new ideas for my kenwood, wondering what you guys had made.

Can you use any jpeg? also- when does the background show up? ie during ipod playing, tuner, etc. I'm interested in the kenwood and this is another perk to hurry up.

yeah all mine have been in JPEG format and never had a problem yet.
you can kinda see the background which is why a pattern is better as the onscreen diplays block out alot of it

how do you load them? i have this unit but i am using the usb thingy for my ipod interface.

you have to load them through the usb cable, I just hook up a usb memory stick to it with all my pics on there(about $10 for a 1gb), when you hook it up got to standby on the main screen, then settings and look for the background option

couldnt you also do this thru the sd slot?
