iPhone to Stock Stereo

Hey,

I was wondering if there was a way to hook up an ipod or iphone to my stock stereo w/o going through an FM transmitter. I don't want to alter the stock look of the car or the stock stereo but... I would like to be able to hook my ipod up with good sound quality via a 1/8 jack. My old 3000 GT used to have this built into the deck!! All the FM transmitters I've tried stink.

I think FM transmitters are your only option if your wanting to keep the stock stereo.

I would recommend getting a new one that has either a aux input on the front or iPod adapter capability.

That kind of stinks. I like the factory radio! I've heard they have an aux in model that can be rigged to accept a 1/8th inch jack. I really want a 100% stock look with a 1/8th inch jack. If I have to buy a diff model of the stock radio I'm okay with that.

honestly just get a nice ipod ready deck. I have my alpine hooked up to my iphone and it's nice always having my iphone charged and going through the songs through the deck. Also the music pauses when a call comes in and starts up again when the call ends.

Good suggestion. You can find some cheaaaap decks that have usb input and can play your ipod that way w/o "UBER EXPENSIVE IPOD CONNECTOR". Marked up to 8000x's the cost.
