Red/Amber Colored headunit
I am looking for a headunit that lights up red/amber to match my gauges. I also want to know if anybody has screens somehow installed instead of a normal headunit. Pics would be great. My price range is around 500-600

i do ill post pics later today when i get out of work... and as far as the red/amber i believe that sony is red... you may want to go to best buy or something along those lines

Well depending on what radio you choose you can change out the led's inside of it to red or amber..

I have one its a sony explode deck and the color match is perfect I promise you. I have changed decks though so it is for sale. unfortunaly I don;t have any pics of it in my car. You can change colors of it also. if you buy it and don't like I will send your money back to you. Let me know. I have a pic of it but not in the car. PM with your email addy and I will send what I have ok. Ohh and I'm selling it for 50 bucks.

Alpine headunits have the red option. I have the 9885 and am very happy with it. price was $250.

I used to have a Sony Xplod headunit that would allow you to change the backlighting to red,blue,green,yellow and a few other colors.

Clarion is where its at, I can't remember which my friend has but there are like 12 different color options. Awesome all around head unit.

+1 for Alpine Units.
The ones I know for a fact that have the red illumination option are the CDA-9835, CDA-9883, and CDA-9885. I believe the newer iPod only alpine deck's also have the red illumination option.
The eclipse CD5000 and CD7000 also have the option to go red.
