alpine head unit help!!

I'm a stereo newbie and not a huge fan of playing with wiring. I have a few simple questions. I have an Alpine CDE 9852 headunit. I have both plugs that I need and I'm in the process of connecting everything but I don't know what to do with these three wires in the picture below.

blue w/ white stripes - remo - ?
blue - p ant - power antenna?
orange - illumination

how come these have spade connectors at the end? All the other wires are just bare copper. Can I just snip the connectors off and wire them together?

Lastly are the oem RS/MR gauges wires before or after(before meaning prior to the oem head unit harness...after meaning the actual oem head unit harness) the head unit connects? I have not had a chance to check yet is why I ask.

Please, if you can help me out I'd appreciate it!

Thanks

so even though I have a solid blue on the oem harness adapter and on the alpine adapter just tape them off? Basically I just want to make sure that I can cut the spade connectors off. I can't see why I'd need them

and I don't have an amp so I guess that I can tie off

Make sure they are taped off nicely.

When you turn the radio on, those 2 blue wires power up. They are designed to turn on an amp and a power antenna if the car came equipped with it.

The orange wire would hook up to the lighting circuit. This is to dim the radio at night when you turn the lights on, I never hook this up. But again, make sure you tape all wires good so there are no short circuits
