Lo-Jack or 2-way Car alarm

I can't decide to get Lo-Jack or a Compustar 2-way alarm with remote starter.

Lo-Jack would decrease my insurance (comprehensive) by 35% and the car alarm would decrease it by 20%.
Lo-Jack basic - $650
Lo-Jack early warning - $1000
Compustar - $600

Price is a factor. Of course I would have hire a couple of security guards if it weren't :P

There are many other cheap alternatives out that can be used instead of Lo-jack.
Go on google and type "GPS Auto Tracking" - Most units are around $200-400 and can be as cheap as $10 a month.

Problem is that those Cheaper units wont bring down your insurance.

Do the alarm first, the lo jack when you can afford it. It will end up being worth it in insurance savings

i decided to go with a two way alarm for my bike and did the same for my car. my dad did the opposite and went with lo jack instead of the alarm. i went with the viper 791xv two way alarm system. got it for $190 with my employee discount =D
