Im lookinh for a HU but I mean i dont wanna risk getting a Z1 or a Z2 i just want something cheap like a 300 dollar DUAL HU but

it will only play DVD when the car is in park like most DVD HU

but i herd that the Z2 bypass's this right?

anywho is there a way or a DIY tutorial on wiring so it thinks its always in park?

Its disable when the ebrake is down (at least thats what the guys at Best Buy told me when i worked there) and there is a bypass. Im sure if you searched on google you could find it or maybe someone here knows how to do it.

For most headunits you can simply bypass the stupid ebrake limitation by wiring that lead to ground. That's what I did with my JVC AVX33 and it works perfectly.

I think only the newer pioneer and alpine units require some funky stuff to be done to bypass the e brake
