My new twins!!
Brand spanking new from Arc Audio. Picked them up on Saturday.
Would like to thank DontRevMe for the killer price and knowledge.
These will eventually power a front stage with Morel's 6.5" components and one Jl Audio 12W6v2.
Picks below.

Which amp are you going to use to drive the 12W6? The 300.2 isn't stable at a 2ohm load bridged...which is what the 12W6 will present to the amp. I guess you would use the 300.4 to run the sub and the 300.2 to run the front components...

I dont like mono amplifiers, they have only one use. With a 2 ch to bass he can change his setup around if he wishes, or sell it and not have to only sell it to someone who needs a bass amp. Just allows more options.
The 300.2 will do 2ohm bridged, I called arc about this previously.
Call me with any questions bro!

The 300.4 will run the components, while the 300.2 will run the sub.

Good luck...but the owner's manual clearly says it's not designed for a 2-ohm load. It's either going to overheat too often or the amp will shut down because of the impedance being too low. Or, if it does run, the distortion will be more than it's supposed to be and the damping factor of the amp will be significantly lower than it should be. Anyway, good luck.

Here are the stats for the JL sub:
Continuous Power Handling: 400 Watts
Available Configurations: Dual 4 ohm only
So, 4 ohm is just fine, pushing 700 watts rms.

dual 4 means you can run 2ohm or 8ohm.
If you'd like to go with something @4ohm (Eventhough ive already talked to the arc tech ), ive got whatever you need

You need 2 x 8 ohm drivers run parallel to run at 4ohm. Your subs do not match your amp dude.

How are people still making these load errors??? JL slash series amps dont care about ohm load when its between 1.5 and 4 ohms or 12V-14.5V. Its always the same power provided your power wiring is correct. Are these ARC amps better? Im not too familiar with them because the shops here on the East Coast recommend, Audison > Focal or JL. Focal is new to the amp market so endless cash flow = Audison. Generous cash flow = JL.

Those amps are killer, wish I could get some. If arc tech dept says it will run at 2 Ohm, then I don't see the problem

I can always look into a different sub. I am not set on the w6 just yet.

Cool. I (and I think everyone else) was under the impression you already had the 12W6. Try to get a 4-ohm single voicecoil sub that can handle around 600watts RMS. That will match up nicely with your amp.
I have a 12W6 in my car and love it...but it won't work ideally in your set up.
Good luck!

and why can't he just run the sub with one of the 180W channels on each of the coils? Obviously its not optimal, its probably not super-powered... but I bet it will sound good. It also may not rumble your junk, but as long as you aren't sending different signals to each channel it should be fine.
For the record I went from a pdx-2.300 to a pdx-1.1000 for the 10w6v2, but these should at least work for this guy until he gets a different sub.
