Very nice question for you does the Ralliart center console match the stock pattern of the upper dash piece that goea across the top? Love that Sub adding it to my Christmas list

Thanks for the feedback. Can't go wrong with a JL Audio sub.

The Ralliart CF pattern is a 2x2 diagonal weave. The stock dash CF is a 1x1 standard weave. So, they are different. But, not so much that I notice it all that much. Doesn't bother me.

That's alot of hard work ADAMBL03... how long did this whole thing take you?
In regards to the sub enclosure, it fits so snuggly ... was it custom built or?

The dynamat took me about two 1/2 days. The stereo install another two days. But, it could probably be done faster. I'm a perfectionist and took my time with every step.

The enclosure is actually made by a vendor here on EvoM. It's not exactly custom, but kind of custom since it's made specifically for the Evo. My 12W6 was a perfect fit for the enclosure, so it just made sense. I got quotes for a custom enclosure by some local shops and they wanted anywhere between $450-$600. Here's a link to the enclosure...

Yeah, the box is mounted very solidly...it's bolted to the frame with two bolts. Easy to install and it isn't going anywhere no matter how hard I drive.

looks like a clean install. im still trying to decide where i want to install my crossovers for my front components. i have the head unit for my kenwood 819dvd under my passenger seat and im planning on installing my kenwood multi channel amp under the driver seat. im probably gonna mount them in the door panels.

Please don't put them in the door panels They'll likely get water on them, which will short them out and possibly short out your car

Mount them under the dash somewhere

I recently installed the same headunit and I must say it is extremely impressive. User friendliness is definately out of the question unless the Nav portion is being used. I still havent set everything up yet. I think as far as DD headunits go, with the Nav add-on, the DDX-8019 is the total package. Again, not too user friendly but it's still a phenominal piece. Good luck with it and have fun. I'll be playing with mine all week.
