i remember someone here had this in their evo, but i dont remember if he mentioned if it works wit the factory HU or not. can any1 let me know?

Thats a universal FM modulated kit. It will work in almost anycar. Connect in-line with the antenna behind the radio or use the built-in fm transmitter if it has one and you'll be able to tune in to any station you choose to hear your ipod or other audio device. I hate those things.

oh really i didnt know this was setup like that. that sucks! because i heard those transmitter things quality stinks.
